About the Project
The Partnership represents six countries in Central, South-East, Eastern and Western Europe. In a two year international project our main goal is to get an insight into what it means to live our lives in a new globalized World, everyone with his own identity, everyone European.
The main idea of the project - the New Ways of Living - is to train the new generation for the fast sophisticated life in a hi-tech world with all the importance of technologies today, yet trying to enthuse the students to enjoy other things in reality that life has got to offer, also teaching them more about the responsibilities they now have got.
In the project we will address following issues: cultural differences across Europe, cultural heritage, digitalisation of civilisation: social structures online (new friendships) x reality (spare time), the new way of life (healthy lifestyle, time management, consumentarism), renewable resources, solidarity.
Apart from the fact that students get an outstanding chance to improve their foreign language and interpersonal skills, they will also develop the knowledge of the topics mentioned above and share those among other students at school and in their community.
The principal motivation of our multilateral project consists of a range of issues connected to the New Ways of Living. The project will show to the students different possible ways of living in this fast moving world of today where mostly our convenience rules the way we live. The project should prevent or lower the confusion that the students might experience in near future. We are to integrate positive things from other nations today and in the past.
Therefore, most of our students spend all their free time in front of the computer, playing games or chatting on the internet. Virtual life has replaced real interaction and has created communication barriers not only between students and teachers or students and parents, but also among students themselves.
Outdoor games are considered to be the main activities through which children acknowledge the world and develop their social and learning skills. They are tools in socialization, making friends and creating the feeling of belonging to a group.
Some of the students do not have a lot of chances to go abroad or to meet foreigners to get to know the foreign cultures or spoken English.
We want to develop and implement Comenius School Partnership at our schools because our students during their high school experience, are getting immersed in foreign languages education.

Project objectives
1. To grow the awareness that everybody is different, that we have to respect these differences, that we can learn from different ways of life. This will happen by getting acquainted with unknown cultures and the customs of people. Important is to make contacts all over the world, in this case all over Europe.
2. To teach the pupils that we can prevent misunderstandings leading to preconceived opinions and all the consequences that they may have.
3. To mae people aware of our life in an open European community brings us the responsibility to live together and to take care of each other.
4. To show the different ways of life which will bring more understanding especially among groups of young people.
5. To bring together young people in European countries as much as possible. The contacts between the students will lead to friendships for lifetime.
6. To increase the knowledge of the English language.
